Nutrient contents in different sources of organic manures used in different farms of Bhaktapur district, Nepal

Organic manure contributes carbonaceous matter to soil, which when decomposed, offers mineral nutrients plants, also acts as a base exchange material, and helps improve the physical, chemical, biological aspects of soil. This study was conducted assess amount total nitrogen, available phosphorous, potassium, pH, under various organic sources. Collected samples were tested for phosphorus, soil matter, pH at laboratory Nepal Polytechnic College, Bharatpur-11, Chitwan, using NARC, Soil Science Research Centre, Khumaltar, Lalitpur standard rating. The overall nitrogen concentration goat dung 1.667%, whereas buffalo had lowest 0.665%. phosphorus content in research area ranged from 0.732% vermi-compost 0.432% compost, with substantial differences amongst samples. highest potassium level (0.853%), (0.513%). value 8.4 while compost 7.567. maximum (54.8) found manure, (46.3) vermi compost. (54.8%) (46.3%) Modern technology must be adapted successful improved production. To increase availability maintenance methods such covering protect it rain sun, avoiding waterlogged conditions, correct decomposition can implemented.
